Toxic Watch Network

The Toxic Watch Network (Network for Reduction of Toxic Chemicals, or T-Watch) is a citizens’ network providing analysis of the PRTR(Pollutant Release and Transfer Register) data publicised by the Japanese government to facilitate citizen’ effective use of such data. Being originally established as a voluntary organization in 2002, T-Watch was officially recognized as an authorized non-profit organization in 2004. Our mission is to phase out toxic chemicals in the world from local community to the global level. T-Watch has been active in submitting regulatory proposals and legislative drafts on toxic chemicals.
